About the Memory Makers Open House
About CareVedic
Founded by Alex Carter, the Memory Makers Open House redefines the traditional open house by transforming it into a record-breaking annual fundraiser for Alzheimer’s research. After losing his father to Alzheimer's, Alex sought a way to blend his passion for real estate with a mission to bring hope to those affected by this devastating disease.
Starting with a 62-hour event in 2021, Alex’s initiative has grown each year, and in 2024, he aims to expand to 6+ cities and raise $30,000 for Alzheimer's research. This is where the real estate community comes together—not only to sell homes, but to stand in solidarity against Alzheimer’s, while setting new world records along the way.
Recognized by the National Association of Realtors for the Memory Makers Open House event, Alex is now inspiring Realtors nationwide to host Longest Day Open Houses in communities across the country. As Alex takes his initiative nationwide, the event serves as a beacon of hope and support for the Alzheimer’s community.
Join Alex and countless others in making a difference as we work towards a world without Alzheimer’s and related dementias
